In order to perform different grinding operations, we use grinding machines that can perform the finishing of metal parts to obtain dimensional and geometric accuracy.

There are different types of grinding machiens, let’s have a look at them.

External Grinding machines

External gringing is a common machining process in precision mechanics. It is used to obtain cylindrical or conical parts such as shafts for engines, spindles and axes used in the aerospace industry, automotive but also in general mechanics.

This process involves removing the material from the circumference in the radial direction (dip grinding) or axial (longitudinal grinding).

In our machine park we have different external grinding machines:

  • Tschudin mod.HTG 600
  • Studer mod.S30-1
  • Morara mod.EA 700 CNC
  • Tacchella mod. ELEKTRA 1018 MPC

Internal grinding machine

Internal grinding is a process by which the inner surface of cylindrical or conical holes can be ground. The peculiarity of this machining lies in the longitudinal movement that is performed by the grinding wheel while the radial movement is performed by the spindle support or from the workpiece head.

In our machine park we have different internal grinding machines:

  • Studer mod.S145 CNC con asse “C” alta definizione
  • Studer mod.S120 CNC
  • Voumard mod.150
  • MAR mod. RIA-S CNC 1100
  • Voumard mod. 5A

Grinding machines

In our machine park we have different grinding machines:

  • Fisher mod. ZSM 1000
  • Fisher mod. ZSM 1000
  • Fisher mod. ZSM 1000

Universal grinding machines

A universal grinding machine is capable of grinding internal and external cylindrical and conical surfaces and sometimes even flat surfaces.

These machines allow the machining of small and large parts for single, small and large series production.

In our machine park we have different grinding machines:

  • Studer mod.S40 CNC
  • Studer mod.S40 CNC
